Honda is causing a fever to build at the Intermot show in Germany. The Honda Interceptor is a concept centered on a V4 engine that will use groundbreaking oval cylinders to allow more intake valves.

Honda has just pulled the covers off a radical new concept motorcycle at the Intermot show in Cologne, Germany. Technically, there isn't much here that's real, but there's still plenty to dissect. Honda is obviously feverishly working on a new V4 engine and that will soon show up in a production bike.

The CBR-150R is a motorcycle which was introduced back in 1999, and even today the almost 10 year old single cylinder, DOHC 4-valve150cc liquid cooled engine is very capable.

A Japanese news station, Mainichi, is reporting that Honda is in the works of producing a hybrid motorcycle due on the market in 2011.  The Japanese manufacturer is confident they can shrink their hybrid engines enough to fit into a motorcycle frame.
